Summer Refreshments Have Arrived

With the arrival of early summer, our seasonal selection of chilled Japanese sweets is back once again.

As the air grows warmer and carries a touch of humidity, we naturally begin to crave something cool and refreshing.Starting today, May 21, our ecute Shinagawa location begins advance sales of this year’s summer confections.

This season’s lineup includes Fūinka, an assortment featuring smooth Mizu Yōkan (sweet bean jelly), refreshing Aoume (green plum), and colorful Mitsumame, as well as our fragrant Kuromitsu Kinako Warabi Mochi and the seasonal chilled sweets assortment, Toki no Shizuku.

Toki no Shizuku is a limited seasonal assortment featuring nine varieties of chilled Japanese sweets, including Mizu Yōkan, black sesame pudding, plum jelly, mitsumame jelly, matcha sweets, and more.

Enjoy an early taste of summer with these refreshing traditional Japanese confections.

Sales at our Hatagaya Main Store and Sogo Yokohama Store are scheduled to begin on May 25.“Toki no Shizuku” is currently available exclusively at ecute Shinagawa (scheduled to arrive at Sogo Yokohama Store in July).
