Originating in Kyoto and Kanazawa, fu manju is a classic summer sweet traditionally served at tea gatherings.We're pleased to offer this refreshing treat again this year, in limited quantities.
Smooth red bean paste is wrapped in fresh wheat gluten (nama-fu) infused with green laver, creating a chewy texture and delicate sweetness.When served chilled, its aroma and refreshing mouthfeel are especially delightful.
Due to the challenges of sourcing and handling the ingredients, this item is available exclusively at our Hatagaya flagship store.At Sogo Yokohama, it is available by advance reservation only (at least 3 days in advance; no orders accepted the day before).Quantities are limited, so we recommend confirming availability before visiting.
