To welcome the New Year, we have prepared a selection of traditional Japanese sweets for the season.
▪ New Year Namagashi (Assorted Fresh Confections)
Six delicately handcrafted namagashi, each reflecting the colors and spirit of the New Year.Beautifully arranged, they may also be enjoyed as part of your New Year’s table setting.(Available at Hatagaya Main Store and Sogo Yokohama Store)
▪ Hanabira Mochi
A traditional New Year sweet with origins in imperial court ceremonies of the Heian period.(At Ecute Shinagawa Store, available in a set of five only)
▪ Zodiac Manju — Year of the Horse
A celebratory manju stamped with the symbol of the Year of the Horse.Filled with our signature sweet bean paste.(Available at Hatagaya Main Store, Sogo Yokohama Store, and Nagoya Store)
